Residence Inn by Marriott Boise Downtown/University

Staff really nice and welcoming. The ambiance of this property is really nice. We had a king suite which had a full kitchen. The king bed was really comfortable (supportive but soft on top). Everything felt very spacious. The property was very quiet and felt very safe. The breakfast in the morning was better than most. Had bacon and boiled eggs. We bring our own coffee but it looked like they had a variety of strength options. Parking was right outside our door. The hotel location was right next to a park and the dog park was a 7-minute drive away on the other end of the park. That dog park is really nice.

The room was spacious and like new with a great kitchen. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was average, the food was very simple.

The room, grounds and breakfast space were all exceptionally clean. Breakfast offered a number of options and kept very tidy. It was convenient to the Morrison Center at BSU, plus easily walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops.

Location was great. We walked around the nearby park, up to the downtown area and along the river. Very nice. The front desk folk are very pleasant and treated us well. In particular, I had an early flight out and asked them to arrange transportation to the airport. They were very helpful telling me when I needed to leave the hotel to make my flight. I would have gone much earlier. And, they called back to say they would provide the transportation. The fellow who drove me was very nice, we had a nice chat along the way and he wouldn't take a gratuity. Awesome!
